Sheâs learned very quickly and sheâs done very well. Sheâs been fully off leash for a couple days and although in the beginning of being fully off leash she struggled a little sheâs done a lot better now and does all the commands. She has grown a lot since she got here and sheâs been doing great each time she comes out.

Now thatâs sheâs learned to position of heel we have moved on to getting her to walk in a heel. At first she wanted to sniff everything and would get distracted easy, however, she very quickly picked up what I was teaching her and she walked a lot better at the end of the session

Today she learned to make left and right turns when I make them. She struggles with right turns wanting to instead make a left turn. Weâve been working on luring her in to the positions for the different commands such as sit and heel which she has been eager to do and has made it fun for her. She loves to bark at things so weâve started teaching her quit which sheâs still struggling with but sheâs only been here a short period of time. Sheâs also been struggling with going into the kennel unless she has a leash on in which case just a little bit of pressure makes her go right in. Over all sheâs been doing good and figuring out what she is supposed to do.

Today we worked on thresholds ( going through doors) it took her a minute to not want to rush out of the door, but she did a lot better the last two session. We worked further on the heel position and she has been doing better with that as well as walk-in in the same position. â placeâ was a but of a struggle for her since its new, it took using some pressure and protesting for her to finally get in the box. Over she has been doing really well.

Sheâs a very stubborn girl, she reused to go into the kennel so i used treats and leash pressure to get her to go in and once she was in there she wanted to bust out and she head-butted the kennel door a few times until she finally learned that behavior was not going to get her out. When she wasnât in the kennel we worked on getting her to sit. She did it, but she gets up immediately after, this is okay for now tomorrow we will continue teacher her leash pressure and corrections to get her to sit longer or until she is given the next command.

For her first day working she did really well. She protested a little in the beginning of the sessions, but was really motivated using treats. She has got the movements down and has done well. She reused to go back into the kennel but we spend some time working on that and sheâs gotten better and going in when given the command. She is a sweet girl and very smart I didnât expect her to do everything that she did especially since she protested but she did extremely well for the first time that i spend working with her.

We started doing of leash sessions with her today and although she was a bit confused to start the second and fourth sessions were good, she was able to grasp that she was off leash a lot better. The first and third sessions she had a bit of trouble with and she tried to hide, but with persistence and not letting off on the ecollar she came back and was right back to working. The sessions she was having trouble in were the shortest; i made sure to put her away on a good note to reinforce the good behavior and encourage her to want to work more.

Sheâs been on the e-collar for a few days and todays sessions were off leash which confused her a little and she didnât quite understand that she needed to be near me to stop the corrections so to fix her confusion i put a leash back on her and only gave her e-collar corrections and then removed the collar she was still a little confused but she did a lot better. The third session was much better she still tried to wonder off but she came right back. The fourth session she didnât try to wonder off so she is getting better each session.

Since she has been doing so well learning the commands; she had been put on the e-collar which she had been responding well too. She did struggle with going to the heel position yesterday and today, but we worked on that today during two sessions. We also worked on recall today which is using her name to get her to come back and it was a slight struggle but with persistence she responded. There are a few things that weâre still working on like getting her not to rush into her kennel right away, but she has gotten better. She is still nervous or timid about getting to work but through the obedience she has gotten better and better.

Weâve already got her doing sit, down, heel (position) and waiting at threshold among other things, sheâs now been walking on a leash out on the property going through various commands. She has been okay with other dogs, of course separated, but sheâs been good with them.

He has learned a lot the last few days I clouding how to settle in her kennel which did take a while but now she is willingly going into the kennel and doesnât rush out. She is excited to work especially for food which is how we have shaped certain behavior. She is a really sweet girl.

His has been doing great we have just been doing a lot of reinforcement with him. Today was a pretty mellow day but we still had fun.

More corrections with treats

In the beginning we were using treats to shape behavior with no corrections. Now that he knows the positions we introduced corrections which he did well with, he wasnât too confused and picked up what he was supposed to do really quickly. We are still using treats to reward him for the desired behavior, but we waited until the end to reward.

Friday and today we worked on allowing Gus to learn to be dog neutral. We brought him out with Shadow, my personal dog who is dog neutral. Gus was excited and jumpy, but with the proper guidance and corrections he was able to be around Shadow and both do obedience together

Sprinkles is doing better now than she ever has previously. Not only is her affinity to follow commands better than ever, but her confidence and playfulness have been better than ever before too. While she still makes mistakes from time to time, she is very quick to correct herself.

We went out today to a local pizza place and Gus crushed it he sat under my chair quiet and calm. He did absolutely amazing. He rides in the car very well he is very calm. Although he does tend to be excited and very enthusiastic about things he does calm down and settle once heâs been given the appropriate guidance.
