How do I configure my facility?

Configuration of your facility can be completed anytime at Signup through a set of simple guided steps. Alternatively you can edit your configuration in the Admin menu once sign up is complete. If you have a question, or prefer setting up your facility with one of our team members, please send us a message online or via email. The consultation is free. We do not charge a setup fee.

Configuration of the facility include set up for accounts, service offerings, store hours, staff schedule, and so on. It is highly customizable and many are optional.

About account setup - A default Admin account is created at Signup. It has store account features, plus admin features including reporting, marketing and so on and can be accessed and managed wherever you are. Store account can be optionally(recommended) tied to your store IP, so it can be accessed in store location only to ensure security. The optional staff account is for staff who offer appointment based services. It enables staff to set their regular work schedule, open up new appointments, record service (e.g., grooming) notes, set price etc..

How do I import my existing customer and pet info?

There are two ways to transfer / import your existing customer and pet data.

In the guided set of steps at Signup, you can upload customer info, and pet info in Excel format and our system will auto match the records. Example files can be downloaded here. To meet your facility's unique needs, please use the first row to label each column (e.g., Customer First Name, Address, Vaccination Exp Date etc.).

Alternatively, you could contact us through our support platform, send us a message here, or send us an email, and we will assist you with transferring and importing your existing data. The consultation is free. We do not charge a setup fee.

Basic system requirements

PawsAdmin requires Internet or Cellular data connection. We recommend Chrome as preferred browser. However PawsAdmin is compatible across latest release of all major browsers and platforms, including IE, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Linux. It is also mobile friendly supporting Apple iOS, Android, and Windows systems. Note that Proxy browsers (such as Opera Mini) are not supported. Please see details below.

How to set up online booking?

Setting up online bookings takes minutes. We first verify your business email. Once confirmed, you can configure which programs to enable in online booking, and double check your business info such as phone number and address. Include the generated code anywhere you'd like on your website and you are ready to go.

How to set up Rover?

Setting up Rover is easy. We first verify your business email. You can then edit and test your campaign templates. Once your data is analyzed and a campaign is generated, you can view it in detail. Once signed off, Rover is off to work!

How to access Admin features?

Click on the arrow beside your admin username, and you will find Admin menu where all admin features are located, ranging from configuration, adjustments, reports, to analytics.

How to avoid overbooking large dogs in grooming?

Grooming schedule can be customized to be different every day of the week. You can also tweak daily schedule to perfection. To cap / reserve spots for large breeds, or senior, difficult pets, you can specify in schedule notes, e.g., Reserved for Senior, Small Dog Only. This will ensure groomers are not overbooked in a day.

Troubleshoot Commonly Asked troubleshooting questions

My store account isn't working but admin account works, what could be the problem?

If your store account is tied to a store IP, PawAdmin automatically checks current IP against store IP. If they do not match, you will be prompted to a webpage showing you the error. You can update your settings in Admin.

It's recommended to clear your browser cache and cookies and re-login to PawsAdmin. You are always welcome to contact us through our support platform.
